Further progress is halted in Area 7 due to a power bomb block, but I've been OoB in that area already and it's probably possible to skip this block. I can't record it on Citra though, so that delays it a bit.
EDIT: Later I found that it's possible to acquire the Power Bombs without fighting DiggerNOT youtube.com/watch?v=xadH5_UZwDM
EDIT 2: Even later I skipped the Power Bombs completely with a Spider Ball block clip youtube.com/watch?v=0J-MZa3hTdE
