It was a 1:37 game time strangely, while the 2:02:13 was a 1:36. I really don't like that game time is prioritized on the leaderboard. Anyway this pb sort of broke a little wall I had, being unable to finish a good run for a while. Dark Samus centering and other new ways to choke a good run presenting themselves. Despite the setbacks I generally feel much better at this run as a whole and the pb finally proves it. This run set a great pace starting out but it definitely lost its way as it got deeper into Agon. The "first time Boost Guardian kill or reset" became my modus operandi so each run that achieved this usually put me at a 1-2 minute lead. It all became a matter of maintaining it. There was a large setback in the Fortress getting scammed on the pb drop which cost me 30 seconds, the STK cleanup was generally quite poor and all 3 Emperor phases were pretty bad. Luckily DS cooperated with an amazing 5 screw attack kill. Good pb but not at all the finished article.
