Here is my 100% Walkthrough of Metroid Dread for the Nintendo Switch. I will be going through this game on Hard Mode and this will not be a speedrun, as I will obtain all main weapons in order.
In this part, I go through the opening cutscene which goes over the events of the first four 2D Metroid games before Samus lands on Planet ZDR. Upon reaching the underground area, she faces off against a Chozo and loses all of her abilities, starting anew once again. I go through a bit of Artaria before encountering the first rogue E.M.M.I. which is badly damaged. After defeating it, I explore a bit more to find a more functional E.M.M.I., a Map Station at (19:21) and eventually obtain the Charge Beam.
On the second trip through Artaria, I, activate the first thermal control unit at (24:48), which unlocks a path to the Central Unit of the area. Defeating it gives you another Omega Cannon, which is enough to take out E.M.M.I.-02SM and obtain the Spider Magnet. With it, I am able to reach Corpius, a boss that has the Phantom Cloak, then save afterward.
