first day with the meta quest 3 and the comfort from the cloth headstrap is terrible due to the weight of the headset.
so I printed some adapters that allow using of old quest 2 headstraps, no problem with fitment and seemingly was going well.
until I want to position the headset better on my face, every time with this headstrap and the adapter, I will lose tracking when touching the headset.
not the cameras, not the front, just the faceplate either side.
this is beyond stupid and I really don't know why this is happening, but as I've found the cause I thought I would share it to the world, it took me longer than I care to admit to realise what it was. multiple factory resets happened
