it's no secret why I never upload stuff related to my quest 2 or generally anything oculus anymore- it drives me insane trying to use the things with how bloated and purposely confusing the OS has become, its just not a good user experience when coming from existing android device like phones or tablets with a 'medium' level of tinkering, if all you do is turn on the headset and start VD or gorilla tag, you likely wont care about anything under the hood.
for me the quest os has so many dumb UI choices and solid brick wall against any natural android features people may want to use,.
with awful trade offs in places for absolutely no reason, its just incredibly frustrating for someone like me, the headset could do so much more but meta can't seem to make up their mind what they want to do with the OS.
