Today I’m taking a look at the latest version of one of my all-time favourite Marseille decks, the beautiful Metanoia Marseille Tarot 3rd Edition by Bouchette Design.
Metanoia Marseille has become a modern classic among contemporary Marseille readers, blending the traditional structure of the Tarot de Marseille with Kerri Snook’s unmistakable artistic style, filled with lush botanicals, whimsical creatures, vibrant colours, and a sense of transformation and growth. The word “metanoia” itself refers to a profound change of heart, mind, or perspective, making it a fitting title for a deck centred on personal evolution.
In this video, I’ll be exploring the brand-new 3rd Edition in detail and comparing it side by side with both the 1st and 2nd Editions. We’ll look at the changes in artwork, colour palette, card backs, production quality, packaging, and overall presentation, as well as discussing what has evolved over the life of this much-loved deck.
