Full disclosure: I got my ass thoroughly and savagely beat by this mission's boss on my first playthrough because I didn't know what the heck I was even supposed to do, or if I was even doing damage. I couldn't lock onto the boss at all due to the atrocious camera. I couldn't see the boss' attacks with the atrocious camera. I was manually aiming at the boss with the Rocket Launcher and not doing any damage because I didn't know you had to shoot its leg... anchor... things, to make it fall, and THEN you do damage. Still doesn't help you see the boss' attacks, but hey, at least you are doing damage back.
The rest of the mission really isn't much of a challenge; it's just more of a drag of holding R1 and mashing square until everything dies.
