To get onto the first tree branch, I start moving forward then do a jump - double jump, then stop holding the movement keys. The player will often mantle onto geometry as long as they're high up enough and have enough forward momentum. Once I'm on that branch, I double jump a bit forward so as not to get stuck (you'll see me get stuck when I do a single jump). To get to the far branches, I do a dash and a moment after the dash do a jump, then use my double jump to slow myself down. From there, you can kind of just see what my movement is from there.

I tested a LOT of different areas, and one well known one (not shown) is a rock + electric pole in one corner of the arena. So far, jumping as high as I can and/or as far as I can has resulted in either invisible walls, or death planes that go back to this arena, rather than progressing me further. I actually don't mind this, it's cool seeing this game so well put together already.
