Daytona Championship USA, aka Daytona USA 3, wasnt necessarily well received by Daytona fans and that can be understood.
The soundtrack has been remixed (with sadly no option to go back to the original one) and its the same for the sounds, some are good but some are a nightmare especially the commentator whos yelling at you Try to go easy on the car!
Other additions that I appreciate even less have been made, a menu at the bottom of the screen show in a merry mess the 40 competitors banners and the thing that I really HATE, a §ùçk!ng menu that pops time to time on the left side of the screen that sends LASERS in all directions in front of you! Its not Star Wars, its Daytona damn it!!
To fix all that I decided to make a Mod for this unloved Daytona, my goal is simple: Make Daytona Great Again!
Here is the current result, its still in WIP but its progressing well. As you can see I managed to get rid of the annoying menus and the §ùçk!ng LASERS and was able to get the original soundtrack back in but I still have a bit of work to do. I have to integrate the sounds of the original commentator and adjust the sound level of each sounds/musics at the same level as on the good old Daytona USA.
PS: No car was abused during the recording of this video ^^")
