The 'Watchman' was a series of mini-TVs put out in the 80s and 90s by Sony. The cathode ray was vertically mounted to allow for a large picture in as small a cabinet possible.

Picked up this wee beastie a few years back to watch the last day of analog TV. We still have analog cable and this has an antennae input jack...
