The Messiah of Scripture is not the Messiah they show in the movies.
The Scriptures reveal Yahushua returning in judgment, not silently, or gently as a lamb, but as the Avenger of Blood, the Kinsman Redeemer who executes justice on behalf of His people.
From Numbers 35, we learn the Torah law of the go'el hadam, the family redeemer who brings death to the murderer. Revelation shows that Yahushua fulfills this role, coming to avenge the blood of the righteous.
Isaiah 63 and Revelation 19 describe Him treading the winepress alon, His garments stained with the blood of nations. Not symbolic. Not allegory. Literal justice.
The martyrs cry out in Revelation 6 asking, “How long?”
The answer: Until the day of vengeance comes. And it will.
