My part for TheSilverPocketWatch's MEP, 'Already Over'. :D
Theme: The crossover villain and heroine were in a relationship until she left him for her canon hero. The villain cannot get over her and will do anything to get her back even though he knows its already over with no chance of getting back together.
So basically, Hades and Esmeralda were together before she met Phoebus. Eventually, because god-mortal affairs weren't built to last, the couple drift apart. Hades is still in love with Esmeralda and continues to watch her on earth, secretly hoping that they'll reunite one day. But along comes Phoebus, who quickly manages to win Esmeralda's heart. Hades isn't too happy about this, and keeps thinking how it should be him with Esmeralda, not Phoebus, and is desperate to get Esmeralda back. But eventually he realises that Esmeralda is truly in love with Phoebus, and accepts that his relationship with her is "already over".
