Angela Fehr Watercolour | Mentors Make You Brave: Watercolor Studio Chat with Angela Fehr @angelfehr | Uploaded April 2020 | Updated October 2024, 5 hours ago.
As I look back over the choices that contributed most to my growth as an artist, I am so grateful for the roles that mentors have played in helping me to find confidence and courage as a watercolor artist. The example of mentors gave me the freedom to pursue my own path and create art that is deeply personal and authentic.
In this video blog, I want to share with you a look at some of my very first watercolor paintings, as well as some current work, tell you about the artists who inspired me to look deeper than simply copying a photograph, and encourage you to keep pursuing your own most authentic, heart-led art.
Books I reference in this video (I receive an affiliate commission from your purchase - thank you!)
"Watercolor Painting Outside the Lines" - Linda Kemp amzn.to/2VQdWzp
"Atmospheric Watercolor" - Jean Haines

"Atmospheric Flowers" - Jean Haines

I have many more book recommendations and supply links for my favorite watercolor supplies here: amazon.com/shop/angelfehr
In need of some creative community and mentorship? I can think of no better place to find it than in my Fearless Artist community. You get much more than a place to post your work, or lessons on how to paint, although those things are included. We really consider it the most positive community for watercolor on the internet.
