Men Built MILLION DOLLAR Garden in 1 Month ! ( Start to Finish by @JapaneseGardenTV )

Hello TTI family! Today’s project is less like normal landscaping and more like building a luxury nature resort in somebody’s backyard. TEAM Aquascape took an empty property in Bloomington and transformed it into a massive million-dollar pond ecosystem packed with waterfalls, giant boulders, koi fish, streams, bridges, fire pits, and enough moving water to make the neighbors question their life choices. 😄
Leading the build is Brian and his crew, alongside Ralph from Pondscapes AZ. The project starts with excavators digging out a huge intake bay capable of holding more than 6,000 gallons of water. Soon commercial trucks arrive loaded with supplies, including massive liners and over 180 AquaBlox modules that act like giant underground water-storage blocks.
And yes… someone actually had to assemble all of them.
But this project wasn’t just about digging a pond. The team also had to solve major drainage issues, install a French drain system, build a cantilever deck over the water, and carefully place giant boulders that not only looked natural but also controlled the movement of water throughout the pond.
Meanwhile, homeowner Brett kept giving the crew one dangerous instruction:
“Go bigger.” 😄
The project expanded fast, adding waterfalls, hidden shallow zones, island rocks, stepping stones, a huge reservoir, and even a custom bridge. Amazingly, the entire build was completed in just 11 days, which honestly feels impossible for something this massive.
One of the standout features became the curved cantilever deck, built in a single day by a carpenter working with Brian’s crew. Underneath it sat a giant drainage system designed to keep the entire landscape functioning properly.
The team also created a giant wetland filtration system using snorkel vaults, centipede modules, AquaBlox, and thousands of bioballs to naturally clean the water. Huge logs, decorative urns, fire pits, and plant islands helped soften the space and make everything feel more natural.
By the end, the pond system held nearly 25,000 gallons of water and functioned like a fully engineered ecosystem. Jets beneath the deck attracted koi fish right to the viewing area, while carefully designed currents kept debris moving naturally through the pond.
Now Brett and Kathy get to enjoy their incredible backyard paradise—a peaceful space that feels more like a private luxury resort than a backyard.
And honestly? After watching this transformation, your garden might start looking a little suspiciously boring. 😄
