This mission is incomprehensible to me.
Not only do I not understand the joke thats going on for 20 fucking waves but I also dont understand why its made so fucking boring and repetitive by having everyone complete the same task over and over again.
I guess thats MvM in a nutshell but that doesnt mean you have to dial it up to 11.
You have an entire massive mansion at your disposal and all you can make your players do is grab a key over an over? At least make us grab something else.
Spin a story around this if you will. The Villa is haunted and you have to extract cursed objects for your crazy scientist buddy over here who wants them for his collection or something like that but it turns into something else entirely along the way.
Just dont make me do the same menial task over and over again.
You know what? Fuck it. Turn it into Luigi's Mansion for all I care. You are already using the Mario "Mama mia!" anyway. Or make it a cursed Hotel Mario.
Its just frustrating to see potential wasted on whatever the hell this was even supposed to be.
Other players also have little to no input in the entire escape part and only require the player with the key to trigger the end of a section.
Give more of an incentive for other players to escape too instead of just afk'ing or running around aimlessly.
Maybe change the escape up so that every player has to escape in different parts or ways from the house but still not a requirement for all to make it.
The biggest issue I have though is that you start all the way at Wave 0 should you somehow lose during a wave. This would be especially frustrating in a long mission format like this when you mess up during a later wave like Wave 10 to 20.
I think the only actual enjoyable moment I had was when I randomly killed a Scoutbot that was being healed by a Giant Medic and he was so saddened by this event that he just ended his own existence.
