2. Risk factors and warning signs to watch for
3. The importance of early detection and routine skin checks
4. Prevention strategies, including sun safety and UV protection
This educational session features Dr. Colin Costello, Mayo Clinic dermatologist, who provides expert insights and answers common questions to help individuals better understand skin cancer and protect their health.
This conversation also includes a skin cancer survivor who shares their personal experience, as well as a community partner who discusses implementing a sun safety program to help create healthier environments and promote skin cancer prevention. Together these perspectives highlight the importance of combining medical expertise, lived experience, and community action to reduce the burden of skin cancer.
