This is a play through of Carol Kaye's picked bassline from Mel Tormé's version of the Joe South classic 'Games People Play'. This song features what is widely regarded as one of Carol's finest recorded performances.

I performed the line using a Fender Precision bass strung with flat wound strings. I also taped a piece of felt across the strings at the bridge to control the overtones - as Carol does.
