Someone turned into something because of the dairy industry.

At the Dominion Animal Rights March 2025, investigator and activist Meghan Quinlan spoke about Felix.

Felix was a bobby calf who Meg met in a holding pen while investigating Tasmanian Quality Meats in Cressy.

Later, she watched him die.

In her speech, Meg tells his story and asks how we as society can ‘grieve our pets and turn a blind eye to the millions of animals that we kill each year, at the same time.’

This powerful story of this singular bobby calf, so innocent and so deserving of life is symbolic of every animal that awaits death inside Australian slaughterhouses.

We are the ones who must fight for their liberation.
