Megan Thee Stallion is calling on a judge to reprimand Tory Lanez for his alleged behavior during a recent deposition, describing it as “disruptive, inflammatory, and inconsistent with the basic norms of civil litigation.” Lanez, currently serving a 10-year prison sentence for the 2020 shooting of Megan, is now facing accusations of continued harassment from behind bars.
The latest development ties into a civil lawsuit Megan filed against blogger Milagro Cooper, who she claims has been spreading false and harmful information about her. Megan’s legal team believes Tory Lanez, born Daystar Peterson, has been using third parties like Cooper to further target and intimidate her—despite being incarcerated.
As a result, Megan's attorney has filed a motion requesting the court to issue an order to show cause, essentially demanding that Lanez explain why he shouldn't be held in contempt of court. The filing includes alleged evidence such as jail call logs and financial transactions linking Lanez to the ongoing harassment campaign.
In addition to seeking a contempt ruling, Megan is also asking for a restraining order to block any further direct or indirect contact or interference from Lanez—especially through intermediaries or online platforms.
