Rapper Tory Lanez, currently serving a 10-year sentence for the 2020 shooting of Megan Thee Stallion, was reportedly stabbed by another inmate at the California Correctional Institution in Tehachapi. The incident occurred on the morning of May 12, 2025, during yard time. Lanez was taken to a hospital in Bakersfield with non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities are still investigating the motive behind the attack as concerns grow over his safety behind bars.
