Playthrough | Part 19: Trouble at Leanbox
Neptune, Noire and Blanc's stories are finished. Only one remains, Vert. Now we begin.
Vert arrives at Leanbox only to find that it has been taken over by a member of Gold Third, S-Sha. And it gets weirder as she's accompanied by a Dogoo Man and two Dogoo Ladies. Made even more weird is that S-Sha is sitting on top of the Dogoo Man. Turns out S-Sha wants Vert to pull out a strange sword. She does that and now S-Sha wants her to look into someone known as the Demon King.
So Vert registered as a Soldier and she rests in a hotel. So she gets to work, taking down monsters only to find out that some of the invaders are from Lastation. Something's amiss. But she gets new orders, only to have her encounter some pigs. Ran-pigs. Returning back, S-Sha explains that they needto seek out the Demon King's whereabouts. Vert returns back to get some rest but not before she has a bath and meets someone very familiar. The next day, Vert meets with S-Sha. The invaders have struck so Vert is ordered to hunt it down. It's also here we meet the other guest character that appears, Nitroplus (Voiced by Ryan Bartley). Nitroplus is a maker character, representing Nitroplus Co. Ltd. She's from the PC Continent and is on the hunt dealing with a group of rats and a rat wearing a business suit, Horyuchu. So very weird.
We then head to Halo Forest. It's also here we meet Nepgear. Remember her? Turns out Neptune asked her to help Vert by visiting Leanbox. Vert wonders if she's an outside invader when she isn't. So yes, she's along for the ride. Oh and we get the running gag that Vert seems obsessed with making Nepgear her younger sister. Eventually they confront a giant monster. So they go HDD to take on the Pandea Leos. Just keep on attacking and it should be alright. After the fight, they return back to Leanbox. Vert watches Nitroplus take down rats and she realizes that she hunts down criminals. It's also here that Vert meets Nitroplus' partner, Raw Meat. Yes, seriously. Back to the story, Vert and Nepgear deliver the news to S-Sha. Their work is done so the two spend the rest of the day with a bath. Nepgear explains everything that has happened so far to Vert. It's a lot to take in.
