Revelations | Part 5: Uprising
With the Oracle and three Ascension Stones, we're finally ready to leave Purgatory behind. Don't worry. We'll get to return later.
We return to the Architect's Workshop. It's here that it's the point of no return so whatever loose ends you want to take care of, do it now. Using the Oracle and the three Ascension Stones, we hand them to the Architect. What follows is the Architect and the Slayer working to create a brand new armor. It is here that the Praetor Suit is born. The Slayer... has returned.
We then return back as the gate opens up at last. We can finally leave Purgatory behind. Just in time too. The lies of the Khan Maykr must be exposed. Much of Argent D'nur are being evacuated. There are riots going on. We need to get to the throne room. Upon meeting with Thira and the Maykr themselves, we bring the Axe to her. It's here Thira learns the truth of her father's death. Killed by Marek. It's then that Valen executes Plan Ash. Thira orders everyone out and the Slayer... he's out for vengeance.
The demons attack, forcing the Slayer to go on the offensive. Yep. We're going to fight and fight we will. Many demons stand in our way, including a pair of Hell's Champions. They weren't an issue. The real challenge is the very menace that brought us to Purgatory to begin with. We confront the Khan Maykr. He states that Argent D'nur is broken and the cities have been burned. Hell can't be defeated but it can be controlled, stating that it'll be the new master. Maykr offers salvation as this kingdom is doomed. Some choose to lower their weapons and walk towards the Maykr. Several stand by Thira. The Maykr states that this realm will die and unleashes The Henchman.
Remember him? Well this time, we can take him down. Use anything and everything you have to take him down. He's a tough foe. Don't be afraid to parry and bring the pain like never before. Use everything you have, parry and then bring the pain.
We deliver a killing blow but it seems the fight ain't over yet. This leads to Phase 2 and things get harder. But the same strategy applies. Use everything you have and bring the pain to the very thing that brought us to hell. It's tough so make sure you bring the pain. After we finish it, the Slayer finally takes him down. It's also here that we see the Slayer take down the Henchman once and for all.
With the Henchman dead, Thira announces to reject the Maykr's ways now and forever. It's by her blood that they stand by her and the Slayer. It ends with the Slayer hearing the terms Rip and Tear. This completes Revelations.
But the game isn't over. We get the final piece of the Master Key. This will unlock End Game and with it Master Key areas. But in addition, if we head below, we can be able to restore our Shield Saw to its former glory.
