So you may remember there were two extra teleporters next to Cut Man in Optic Sunflower's level, but they were inactive. Well, once you get all the collectables, they become available, but each has a stipulation. The first one, Red from X7, while the other requires you to go in completely naked, Sub Tanks and Heart Tanks included as you can actually turn those off in this game. He only does one point of damage per hit, but his attacks are very hard to dodge, and he heals whenever he lands a hit.
The other one requires you to at least have your armor equipped before challenging them and it's Serenade from Battle Network 3, making a cameo outside of Battle Network. Serenade is a multi-phase boss fight, requiring you to attack them twice to remove their veil before you can do damage to them. Much like in BN3, doing this will launch a counterattack at you so be ready to dodge.
Both these extra fights will test your mettle more than anything else in this game, so get ready.
