So for the Heart Tank, we had to clear Blast Hornet's level first, as doing so will downgrade some of the enemies in the level and remove the crates that would be blocking the way as we cut off the supply chain by going to Hornet first. The Frog Ride Armor can be obtained with the Leg Parts by using the upwards dash. And now we have the first of the Chip Capsules that we can reach thanks to the Ride Armor. These capsules, color-coded as Pink, provide a second upgrade to your armor parts. However, you are only able to choose one of them to use, so if you decide to pick one, you're stuck with it. The Arm Chip gives you a new weapon, like the Giga Crush from X2, but this one gives you unlimited charge shots as long as there's energy in the bar.

We also get our first visitor. See, the reason every stage has an empty room in it is because there's a chance for you to be visited by Bit or Byte in these rooms once they become active. You fight them like you would any other boss and they retreat. However, if you defeat them with their weakness, in Bit's case: Frost Shield or Triad Thunder, you will kill them. This will have an effect in the final levels later.
