The complete soundtrack from Mega Man X3 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System.
Released in 1995 in Japan and 1996 internationally, Mega Man X3 was developed by Minakuchi Engineering in cooperation with Capcom and published by Capcom. The SNES soundtrack was composed by Kinuyo Yamashita, best known for her work on titles such as the original Castlevania.
Mega Man X3 features one of the heavier and more aggressive soundtracks in the X series, making extensive use of distorted guitar-like synths, driving bass lines and fast percussion. Each Maverick stage has its own distinctive theme, ranging from the energetic Neon Tiger and Blast Hornet tracks to the colder atmosphere of Blizzard Buffalo and the darker sound of Toxic Seahorse. The later Doppler, Vile and Sigma themes push the soundtrack toward an increasingly tense and dramatic tone.
This video contains the music from the original SNES version in soundtrack order, including stage themes, boss music, story sequences, ending and credits.
