Back with another Mega Man X3 video. This time, it's strictly focused on the speedrunning side. Doppler Stage 2 has a pretty infamous vertical segment that's a slog to get through, and what's commonly referred to as the elevator skip requires damage boosts in conjunction with Neon Jumps. However, I've come up with a strat that provides an alternative to avoid taking damage for challenge running purposes.
Both clips in this video employ the same strat of relying more on Neons than the original speedrun strategy. The first clip is more efficient/faster than the second clip, which is mainly just me trying to squeeze in some extras with other weapons for mere swagger points.
