Turns out my previous "Sega Genesis Remix" of this song had an extra channel, preventing it from truly fitting within the 6 FM channel limit, I went back and worked on it some more.
Instead of just removing a channel, I went back to the original song, and basically re-composed my version around it. The original was just a channel reduced MIDI (of which the original was rearranged and had different notes in some areas), but this one's basically a transcribed version of the SNES song, with a few touches I made.
I added a beat to the beginning (...I admit it was inspired by "Tough Boy" from Fist of The North Star 2...), and raised the tempo, giving it that hard hitting, "Mega Drive feel" that was lacking from my original, which was rather weak in my opinion.
As before, I used a combination of VOPM and the "Ultimate Megadrive Soundfont" in the creation of this remix. Made in FL Studio 8.
