âThe Dogâ â directed and partly written by Alexanderâs brother, Baker Karim â had its European premiere at the Gothenburg Film Festival, west Sweden, in January.
Back in November, Alexander won a Globe Award for Best Male Performance when the film premiered in competition at the Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF) in Lagos, Nigeria. đ
