Gaelen P. Adam is a senior research scientist at Brown University’s Center for Evidence Synthesis in Health (CESH) in Providence, Rhode Island. She has a MLIS from Simmons, an MPH from Brown, and a PhD in Health Policy from Brown. In addition to having contributed to the production of over 30 evidence synthesis products (systematic reviews, technology assessments, and other similar products) on a wide variety of clinical and public-health topics, she has done extensive research in the evaluation and implementation of machine learning and artificial intelligence to improve evidence-synthesis methods. She is currently leading a living rapid review of AI tools for systematic reviews and is a team member on the Solace-AI project, a Wellcome Trust-funded initiative, aiming to create real-time evidence synthesis to support policy and humanitarian responses to climate-change health emergencies.
