Comuna 13 was once called the most dangerous barrio in Colombia, maybe even the most dangerous in all of South America. That was when Pablo Escobar was running his drug empire out of Medellin. Today it's a different place that welcomes tourists. Recently I took a Sunday walk through the neighborhood to see the new look of Comuna 13. It was a day filled with music, dancing, public graffiti art, food & drink.
