A little experiment I did using AR Foundation in Unity for my Quest 3 to verify the feasibility of outdoor AR games to be played from my balcony.

I discovered that actually, the tracking of the Quest for very distant objects does not jitter that much: the jitter is visible when I move my head, but it is not that dramatic and then the object returns in place. For flying objects, the effect is not even noticeable, because it is normal that flying objects have little floating movements. So in the end some kind of "window" game for Quest may be feasible...
