Mechanism Breakdown: Slappy Sculpture

I decided to challenge myself and get the whole mechanism working off of a single motor. The biggest challenge was the activation lever- without it, the arm would kind of skip forward at the end of the tooth profile of the charge-up gear due to the force of the elastic. Adding the lever gave the charge-up gear a second to disengage, before a screw head activated the lever that released the arm. This mechanism was the result of a one-step-at-a-time approach with a few iterations to get it just right!
