In November 2022, Ontario residents approved Measure Q, a 1% local sales tax dedicated to strengthening public safety, addressing homelessness, improving infrastructure and parks, and enhancing youth and senior programs.
One of these investments helped create Ontario’s Homeless Services Street Team, a dedicated group working directly in the field to connect individuals experiencing homelessness with services, support, and hope.
