A precision-scale field experiment measures the same calibrated masses while traveling between Michigan and Florida. Apparent weight decreases toward the equator and increases toward higher latitude in close agreement with the rotating WGS84 spheroid prediction, providing a direct test of the centrifugal contribution to effective gravity.
