Mdk4 is a simple tool it does a lot of the things a simple esp 8266 deauther does but you got the option of using much powerful hardware and any WiFi adapter you wish too use that Kali Linux supports. To install the tool the command is....
" apt-get install mdk4 "
Also I quickly go over the tool with no script so i'm sure I got somethings wrong or miss-spoke but overall the steps and set-up is correct and the guide should help you out. And if your looking for a cheap and throw away deauth attack I suggest using a esp8266 instead.
