I know I'm already in two (very awesome) non/disney RPs, but I conjured up this idea with Honeybee and I already had half of it done when I was accepted into Sanctuary, so... Here we are! @MxDisney

Character Info:
Name: Henry Blackwood
Age: 46
Backstory:
Henry Blackwood is a widowed father of one, his daughter, Allie. He's a cynical and bitter middle-aged man who has a bone to pick with Charles White.
(Most of the backstory is shown here, but I'll summarize.)
Henry met, fell in love, and married his wife, Alyce, in his twenties. They were all over each other, like they would do anything for each other and were obsessed with each other. True loyalty and compassion for each other.
Henry was working as an armed courier when he met Alyce, and specifically worked under Charles White. Alyce was White's secretary for a time. Henry built a pretty shallow work relationship with Charles, they got drinks together and that was the extent of it.
Since they were married so young, Henry and Alyce found themselves in financial problems early on in real life. Paying for their first home together, along with their other needs, while also preparing to have a family together. Henry shared these problems with Charles White after one of his visits.
Charles then approached Alyce during her job and propositioned her for sex. She quickly turned him down, loyal to Henry. Charles brought up her financial problems and offered to pay for her sex. Alyce's resolve crumbled and she gave in, knowing she and Henry needed the money.
Alyce returned home after the affair and told Henry everything. She was scared he would leave her, but Henry assured her that he still loved her and would never leave her. But he was enraged by White's actions, cutting off his ties with him and finding courier work elsewhere. Alyce put in her two weeks notice after Charles White payed of the Blackwood's home.
Weeks later, Alyce found out she was pregnant. She and Henry knew the baby could be White's, but they decided to have the baby anyways. And they never performed a DNA test to see if the kid was related to White. It didn't matter to them. Henry was afraid he would hate the baby, but he immediately loved the kid, Allie, and has strived to be a good father since her birth.
Allie grew up, and during her childhood, Alyce became sick. Allie had a hard time understanding the ramifications of her mother being sick, and Henry and Alyce were distraught when they realized they wouldn't be able to pay for Alyce's medical bills and surgery to help her pull through. In a moment of weakness, Henry turned to Charles White for help, asking for money to help Alyce. White coldly turned Henry down, further angering the man.
Alyce soon after passed away, leaving Henry to raise Allie alone.
(Backstory over, back to present day)
Allie is now a young adult, still living with her father. At some point, she got involved with Katrina, Charles' current wife, and has a "friends with benefits" relationship with her. Henry is aware of this relationship. He supports his daughter, but has voiced his disdain about Katrina in particular, mostly due to her involvement with White. But at the end of the day, Henry is letting Allie make her own choices and is settling to be there in case her relationship doesn't work out.
After Katrina's most recent visit, she left two letters for Henry and Allie for the White's party. Henry dismisses the idea of going to the party, but changes his mind. Maybe it's the alcohol talking, but Henry sees this as a good opportunity to send off White for good.
And the rest is history!
Other Important Info:
- Henry still doesn't know if Allie is his, but he doesn't care.
- Henry is an asshole, except to his daughter.
- Charles White does not know Allie could be his daughter and does not know she's sleeping with his wife. (As far as Henry knows.)
- The Blackwoods own a dog, Rosie, but I couldn't fit her into the video. But she does exist! Henry got Allie Rosie after Alyce's passing to help her cope.
