LANSING, Ill. — McTeacher Night started with Memorial Junior High School.
Now four schools in the district hold one.
“It started with Memorial, but we now do this at four of our schools,” Lansing School District 158 Superintendent Nathan Schilling said.
Memorial was back at the McDonald’s on Torrence Avenue on Tuesday, Sept. 15.
The school band played inside and outside the restaurant. Teachers Holly Mann and Erica Spencer sold apple pies, two for $5. Assistant Principal Jennifer Hartmann was dressed as a giant apple pie.
