McDonald Super Diesel stationary engine, once used driving a Winch at a World war 2 era Mica mine in central Australia near Alice Springs, ended up on a water bore at New Haven cattle Station until the Bore collapsed. Collected in 2002 and cleaned out, Sump had lots of broken Beer bottles inside and stones, efforts of local Bush Children living in the area. Engine otherwise was in good condition with no missing parts.
