There was a switch problem today on the Orange Line, south of Back Bay station. South bound Orange Line trains were terminating at Back Bay, with Shuttle Buses connecting to Ruggles, then Orange Line trains from Ruggles to Forest Hills. I was on a train approaching Back Bay ready to get on a bus to Ruggles when I saw the new train drive north from Back Bay. I followed it on the next north bound train to Wellington where I hoped to capture it driving south. A few trains passed and no sign of the new train. Then an announcement that the incoming train would take no passengers. It was the new train pulling into the Wellington yard and then into the garage. Hopefully just a minor adjustment.
