Unfortunately, many of these beings end up trapped. Both planes of existence are connected, but that connection can and will sever at some point in time. The most tragic part of it all, is they will never know. Most beings that end up here have no knowledge of their other existence. They believe they were born here, that this is, and always was, their home. Lucidity is rare, and existence of it is considered taboo. It drives corruption, so we hide those that are discovered. Once a Dreamer becomes Lucid, the Fear in their spirit is drawn out, and the corruption finds them.
