Meta records is run by London based techno DJ and producer Oliver Ho.
Since its creation it has put out a steady stream of techno releases that have constantly evolved in style keeping pace with an ever changing marketplace. Early releases were deep, abstract dancefloor techno, with tribal influences appearing as the label evolved. Prevalent on recent releases is a more straightforward tribal techno/tech-house sound while sublabel Light And Dark continues into the darker, more abstract realms of techno.
Almost all of the releases on Meta are produced by Oliver alone and have put him right at the top of the pile as one of the world's most in demand producers, DJs and remixers.
Meta is symbolic of Oliver's musical vison, a fusion of influences, striving to take music into new areas.
