In April 2015, the Hubble Telescope used its Wide Field Camera 3 to shoot an amazing image of a fragment of the Witch's Broom Nebula, the remnant of a long-ago exploded star. Is it possible for an astrophotographer, using modern but common equipment, to come close to matching an image produced by a $16 billion dollar orbiting telescope?
