Matamba bush camp was one of my first campsite reviews. Considering it's one of my favourite campsites I thought it only fitting to do a refresh (2021).
Matamba bush camp is located in the Waterberg region of the Limpopo province in South Africa. It is a great weekend camping getaway from Johannesburg / Pretoria / Polokwane or an overland stopover to or from Botswana.
So whether you're a international self-drive visitor or just want to break away from the city, be sure to visit this great bush campsite!
