This is the Bend Test part of the ABS Master Smith Performance Test of Journeyman Smith Aaron Wilburn being administered by Master Smith Michael Vagnino. In accord with the ABS rules, Aaron is testing with a knife of his making that has more than 300 forge welded layers of Damascus steel. The next step is for Aaron to have his five (5) knives which include a European Damascus Quillon Dagger judged by the ABS Master Smith Judging Panel in Atlanta.
