Hamptons swimmers beware, it is highly recommended not to swim into these schools of bait fish where larger predators hunt.
Massive schools of menhaden baitfish are lining the shores of Southampton, NY this morning. I flew my drone to cover approximately 6 miles of coast from Mecox Beach, Bridgehampton to Road D Beach in Southampton. Driving from beach to beach and launching my drone to cover it almost in its entirety.

Menhaden are a keystone species and forage fish that is essential to our coastal ecosystem.
