After spending the weekend in Virginia, I stopped at US-3994 Mockhorn Island Wildlife Management Area @VirginiaDWR at the GATR tract (it is also a location for US-9935 the Virginia Bird & Wildlife Trail), just north of Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel, at the southern tip of the Delmarva Peninsula, for a Parks On The Air (POTA) activation on Sunday, March 30, 2025. With the CQ World Wide WPX SSB contest still going on, I jumped back on 12 & 17 meters. Who needs contests when you get this happening! Watch the video to find out what happened!

ALL amateur radio operators world-wide need to know the DX CODE OF CONDUCT. It was meant for DX contacts, but it really applies to ALL aspects of amateur radio (DXing, contesting, POTA, SOTA, Field Day, special events, etc...). DON'T BE AN ALPHA HOTEL!
