This Bald Faced Hornet (Dolichovespula maculata) colony built its nest inside a client's Playhouse. The client's kids were unable to enjoy their swing set after discovering this nest and being swarmed by its inhabitants. I came out with my handy vacuum and sucked out all the hornets, pulled the nest down and fed it to my animals!

How important are wasps, hornets, and yellow jackets? I also go in depth about the importance of wasps in our world and ecosystems to break down the common misconceptions about them!

Squirrel: Lady
Chickens: Henny, Little Red Birdies (4 young red pullets), The Ronettes (3 black hens), Blondie (Yellow Hen) and Lucy (Orange Hen)
