A MASSIVE wasp (Yellow Jacket - Vespula germanica) nest removed from a basement! Whats in your Basement!? This was a colony that would have had 2,500 wasps inside!
The nest itself is lightweight, since there were no adults, pupae, or larvae inside! It looks heavy, but it weighs about a lbs or a touch more! The comb is the heaviest part of the nest and probably weighs about 3 lbs.
The dark stains on the floor is the wasp colony waste! Stinky Nest!
Also appearing in this episode is Humphrey! Humphrey is a female squirrel I rescued and raised from infancy. I bottle raised her and then released her back into the wild here at my house! She lives a normal squirrel life, and has even mothered two litters of kittens!
