From the film Amadeus, this is the Mass In C Minor, K 427 - Kyrie, composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, with Sir Neville Marrinner conducting the Academy of St. Martin-In-The-Fields. This track is featured in the film when Mozart's father is granted permission to try and bring Wolfgang back to Salzburg and also when Wolfgang marries Constanze. The choir is powerful enough but the underlying strings pulsing it all along really sets the strength behind it. This is also featured when Salieri is looking through Mozart's portfolio that is brought by his wife to be considered for the royal post.
