From the film Amadeus, this is the Allegro from Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and performed by the Academy of St. Martin-In-The-Fields, conducted by Sir Neville Marrinner. Everyone knows this piece, if not by name then certainly by melody. Though only featured in the film when Salieri tries to prompt the visiting priest's memory of his music by playing some of his best works, only to be overshadowed by this piece from Mozart that priest begins singing along with. It's a blow to Salieri that has been cushioned by the fact that his music is fading while Mozart's is featured everywhere. If you haven't watched Amadeus, I highly encourage it. It won the Academy Award for Best Picture, plus a slew of others, in 1984.
